How does Steam leveling work?
Your Steam level grows with XP. The cost of a level steps up every 10 levels: levels 1-10 cost 100 XP each, 11-20 cost 200 XP each, 21-30 cost 300 XP each, and so on.
The main source of XP is crafting badges. A badge made from a full card set of one game is always worth 100 XP, so the sets you need equal the XP you need divided by 100.
XP for every Steam level

|---|---|---|---|
| 1-10 | 100 | 1 000 | 10 |
| 11-20 | 200 | 3 000 | 30 |
| 21-30 | 300 | 6 000 | 60 |
| 31-40 | 400 | 10 000 | 100 |
| 41-50 | 500 | 15 000 | 150 |
| 51-60 | 600 | 21 000 | 210 |
| 61-70 | 700 | 28 000 | 280 |
| 71-80 | 800 | 36 000 | 360 |
| 81-90 | 900 | 45 000 | 450 |
| 91-100 | 1 000 | 55 000 | 550 |
The pattern keeps going past level 100. The calculator handles any level.
